Finishing v1 + Future of Orc's World

I’m writing to share an important update about the future of Orc’s World. Version 1 of the server, our first season, will come to an end, and the server will close on November 20th, 2026. After that date, Orc’s World will be paused for a while. A release date for v2 has not been set yet. This decision is not related to Orc’s World’s recent move to JRWS. That transition was made to give the server a stronger foundation for the future, and that remains its purpose.
 

When Orc’s World returns, v2 will begin on an entirely new world. Towns, claims, builds, and homes from v1 will not carry over. I know this is hard news, especially for those of you who have put many hours into your towns. A fresh start will let v2 be built properly from the ground up, and it gives every player an equal footing when it launches.
 

The server will remain fully open, with all features available, until it closes on November 20th, 2026. I encourage you to use this time to finish your projects, visit your neighbors’ towns, and take screenshots of the builds you are most proud of. Once the server closes, the v1 world will no longer be accessible.
 

Our Discord server will remain open throughout the pause. All news about v2, including its release date, will be announced there first.
 

What began as months of development has grown into a community of towns and players beyond what I ever expected. Thank you for being a part of v1. It has meant a great deal to me, and I look forward to welcoming you back when v2 is ready.
