Orc's World Server Rules

Welcome to Orc’s World! Our server is dedicated to fostering a fun, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players. By joining Orc’s World, you agree to follow the rules outlined below and the Orc’s World Terms of Service. These rules are in place to protect the overall gameplay and social experience, ensuring that all players can enjoy a safe and welcoming space. Violations of these rules may result in actions such as a warning, mute, temporary ban, or permanent ban, depending on the severity of the infraction. Our staff members are responsible for enforcing these rules, and they follow established guidelines to carry out appropriate punishments. Staff also have the discretion to address actions not explicitly listed here if they believe a player’s behavior falls within a prohibited action. Punishment lengths are determined based on the severity of the offense and the player’s history of infractions. Remember, you are responsible for the safety of your account, so it’s important to never share your account information or password with anyone!

1. General Community Guidelines and Respectful Behavior
We encourage players to cooperate and compete in a positive environment, but this must always be done in a way that respects and does not abuse other players. All players should act with consideration and kindness, ensuring that the community remains welcoming and safe for everyone. Spamming, sharing personal information, or posting malicious content is strictly prohibited. Discussions on sensitive topics like politics, religion, or personal drama can disrupt the enjoyment of others and are not allowed. All communication must remain civil, inclusive, and family-friendly. Harassment, bullying, or impersonating other players is forbidden, as is any behavior that targets individuals or groups in a harmful way. Public chat should be conducted in English to maintain clarity, and all content—whether it’s usernames, skins, or builds—must be appropriate for all ages. Racism, sexism, hate speech, and any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. Our goal is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and respected, so please follow these guidelines to help keep Orc’s World a great place for all.

2. Fair Gameplay and Safety
Maintaining fair gameplay is crucial to ensuring that all players have an equal and enjoyable experience. Using cheats, hacks, or unfair modifications to gain an advantage over others is strictly prohibited. Builds that cause excessive lag or negatively impact server performance must be avoided, as these can diminish the overall experience for others. Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics is also not allowed, and players are encouraged to report any such issues to staff immediately. Players are also expected to avoid constructing builds or mechanisms that interfere with other players' ability to play, navigate, or enjoy the game. Scamming, deceptive trades, or any form of exploitation for personal gain will result in consequences. Additionally, all players are responsible for securing their own accounts. Please take steps to protect your personal information and avoid sharing account details with others. Orc’s World cannot be held responsible for issues related to individual account security.

3. Modifications Policy
Modifications to the game can enhance gameplay, but they must not provide an unfair advantage or violate the server's integrity. Mods that alter game mechanics, give players an advantage, or automate gameplay are strictly prohibited. For a detailed list of allowed and disallowed modifications, please refer to our Modifications Policy. It’s important that all players comply with this policy to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone. If you’re ever uncertain whether a modification is allowed, feel free to reach out to a staff member for clarification.

4. SMP Rules
For players participating in the SMP (Survival Multiplayer) gamemode, there are additional rules that must be followed to maintain the integrity of the gameplay. These rules are specific to the SMP experience and are designed to promote fair and enjoyable interactions between players. Please ensure you read and understand these additional rules, which are available in our SMP Gamemode Additional Rules. These additional rules cover a range of topics, including griefing, stealing, and interactions between players in the SMP world. Failure to follow these specific SMP rules may result in penalties, separate from the general server rules.

5. Reporting Violations and Bugs
To help us maintain the quality of gameplay, we encourage players to report rule violations and bugs. If you witness a violation of the server rules, you can report the player by contacting support and selecting the “Report a Player” category. The more details and evidence you can provide, such as screenshots or chat logs, the better equipped staff will be to address the issue. For bug reports, please ensure you include as much information as possible so our team can investigate and resolve the issue effectively. Reporting helps us improve the server and ensure a better experience for everyone.

6. Account Security
All players are responsible for the security of their accounts and personal information. Never share your account or password with anyone. Any actions performed on an account are the responsibility of the account holder, so take care to safeguard your credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact staff immediately. Orc’s World cannot be held accountable for issues related to individual account security.

7. Inappropriate Content and Behavior
Certain behaviors are strictly prohibited on the server, regardless of intent. These include, but are not limited to, the use of abusive language, inappropriate jokes, misleading information, or any form of spam. Advertising third-party websites, servers, or social media links are not allowed. Threats of any kind—whether they involve doxing, DDOSing, blackmailing, or sending malicious links—are grounds for an immediate ban. Players using unfair advantages, such as disallowed modifications, boosting, or evading punishments, will also face consequences. Additionally, cross-teaming, team-griefing, encouraging others to break the rules, or creating inappropriate builds will not be tolerated. Content such as inappropriate capes, skins, usernames, item names, or builds is strictly forbidden.

8. Miscellaneous
All decisions made by staff and the server owner are final. Players may appeal a moderation action only once, and after the appeal, the decision will not be revisited. These rules are not exhaustive, and players are expected to use common sense. Repeated challenges to staff decisions or hostile behavior toward staff will result in further disciplinary action. By continuing to play on Orc’s World, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. Thank you for helping us create a positive, enjoyable, and respectful community for everyone!
