Welcome to Orc's World! We're built for players who'd rather build a town than grind for gear — no pay-to-win, no pressure to keep up with hardcore players. There's no set path here: build, work a job, level up your skills, or found a town, in whatever order you want, at your own pace. This guide won't tell you what to do. It'll tell you what's possible, so you're not standing at spawn wondering where to click.

Your First 10 Minutes

1. Join and get your bearings. You'll land in our server spawn the first time you join. Take a lap around before you do anything else — most of what you need day-to-day is within a short walk of where you spawn.
2. Check your rewards. Run [/rws] — this covers your daily, weekly, and monthly rewards. It takes ten seconds, and it's free, so there's no real reason to skip it, even before you've decided what else you're doing.
3. Peek at the shop. Run [/shop] to see what's sellable/buyable, and [/coinsshop] for the coins-based store. You don't need to buy anything yet — just know both exist so you're not caught off guard later when you've got money or coins burning a hole in your pocket.

That's it. Everything past this point is optional and in whatever order interests you.

Pick a Path (or Mix All Three)

🏘️ Towny — Build and Belong

Claim land and build a town with your friends, protected from griefing and unwanted building by other players.

• Cost: $2,500
• Command: /t new [town name]

Run this while standing where you want your town to be — that spot also becomes your town's default spawn point. Invite others with /t add [player]; they'll need to accept via /town invite accept [town name]. Good pick if you want structure and community over grinding. 💰 Jobs — Get Paid to Play

Run [/jobs] to join a job (mining, farming, fishing, whatever fits how you already play). You earn money passively just by doing normal Minecraft things. That money feeds straight into [/shop] and [/coinsshop]. Good pick if you want the economy to fund your other goals.

⚔️ Skills — Level Up Your Character

Every action you take in the world quietly builds toward something. Mine long enough and your Mining skill levels up. Fight long enough and your Fighting skill does too — same for farming, fishing, and more. Run [/skills] to see your current stats and what each level unlocks. There's no separate grind here; you level up just by playing the game normally. Good pick if you like RPG-style progression layered on top of vanilla survival.

None of these lock you out of the others. Plenty of players do all three at once — a Towny member with a job who's also grinding combat skills.

Crates: Free Loot, Three Ways

These aren't opened through a menu or command — the crates themselves are physical, sitting at spawn. Earn keys, then walk over and open them yourself.

• Voting Crate — vote for the server (usually via [/vote]) to earn keys, then head to spawn to open one.
• Star Level Crate — your star rank climbs the more you play and the more you vote, so playtime and voting both feed this one. Check your progress and open earned crates at spawn.
• Monthly Crate — tied to the monthly reward cycle (see [/rws]), also opened at spawn.

Head to [spawn crate location, e.g. "the crate room behind spawn"] to see all three lined up and open whatever you've earned.
